Each coaching journey is tailored to my clients’ unique needs, but in general this is the process:
- We meet for a free, one-hour get-to-know-each-other session. If you are in Johannesburg/Pretoria, let’s meet for coffee. If you are outside this area, we can set up a Skype/Zoom call to get to know each other.
- Our initial chemistry session is a no-obligation conversation. It is important that you meet with at least three coaches before committing to ensure that you find the best thinking partner for you.
- Once we have decided to work together, we’ll design the programme to ensure that it works with your personal and professional schedule.
- During our first few meetings (ideally once a week), we’ll develop your understanding of the way you see the world, your goals and objectives. We will also craft the outcomes for your coaching journey: we refer to these outcomes throughout the coaching programme to ensure that you remain on track.
- During the second part of our coaching relationship, we work on developing your capabilities to develop new habits and new ways of connecting with others and the world around you. These sessions are scheduled for every second week, to give you time to practice your new skills.
- After each meeting you will receive comprehensive notes from me to help you track your progress. Reflecting on these notes can often provide further insights for you between sessions.
- Get in touch and let’s get started!
- Bonus info: one of the best illustrations of the difference between coaching and other helping professions, such as therapy and mentoring, was provided by the Houston chapter of the ICF. Have a look here and then give me a call: What coaching is not

Healthy, happy teams mean increased productivity – but it’s tough out there! When the pressure is on, communicating well becomes a challenge and relationships become strained. The internationally renowned Leadership Embodiment model describes and analyses how we behave in stressful situations. Once we become aware of how we respond to pressure, we can learn how to shift so that we become more skilful and resourceful.
I can help your team to handle stress and conflict in a more positive way by developing three essential leadership competencies:
- Inclusiveness – “We are in this together”
- Centred listening – Listening without taking it personally
- Speaking up – Taking a stand with clarity and precision
Choose to invest in your team’s resilience! Let’s set up a workshop that suits your team’s needs and budget. Workshops can be held at your premises or a venue of your choice.
